We have registered animal health advisors (RAMA/SQP) who can advise you on suitable treatments, if they are required, for your farm animals, horses and pets. Registered Animal Medicines Advisors have an important and responsible role, contributing to animal health and, in the case of farm livestock, farm profitability. They are entitled to prescribe and/or supply certain veterinary medicines under the Veterinary Medicines Regulations. At Harry Travis both RAMA’s are qualified to prescribe for farm, equine and companion animals.

FLUKE & EGG TESTING IN STORE

We can now offer worm egg counts and fluke testing from our Ripponden Branch. Rapid on-site parasite testing allows you to test grazing animals for parasites. This eliminates the need for herd-wide blanket dosing, which helps avoid medication resistance, saves time and money, and increases profits. 

Testing starts from £12 per test although with larger test quantities offers are available. Please contact our Ripponden branch for more information.
